We bought a 680i just before the pandemic. We bought it to help with dust and particle allergies. But once we were shut in, the air quality in our home became a much bigger issue. If I’m cooking something with an odor, if the unit is set on automatic, it turns on the to the next highest level until the air is clear. Then is goes back down again or turns off. We can track the air quality in the house and the filter life through the app. You can change unit settings through the app too. Rollers allow us to easily move the unit through out the house. The filters lasted for about 9 months and we’re easy to reorder and install. The app tells you how much life you have on the filters. When the unit is on its lowest setting you have to try hard to hear it. On the second setting the sound is greater but you can easily forget about it, watch TV or listen to music. On high, just put the rest not in a room you are not using and close the door. It will clear the room and turn itself off. We’re hooked. Now we wouldn’t be without our Blue Air!

I can tell when my air purifier is working. The air just smells so much cleaner. My only complaint is that when the machine runs, which is 24/7, that area is very warm. Its nice for the winter but in the summer not so much.

We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m really concerned about the poor air quality that comes with the forest fires in the fall. In addition we’re renting a really old house with old windows and draft so we’ve wanted the best air purifier. These filters work wonders. I can say that because we also have a PurpleAir sensor in our house that measures the levels of PM2.5 indoors and as soon as levels go up we turn up the air purifier and levels go down immediately. Blueair’s purifier makes me feel safe indoors because I can see the air is clean with our sensor, thank you!!

After re-designing the classic 500/600 filter, the air flow is greatly improved. The old classic style restricted the air flow by more the 75%. I'm so happy with my new filter.

I have 4 Blueair purification filtration products; 1) Classic 605 Dual Protection 2) Blueair Aware (monitors content and uses Bluetooth to turn Air-filters on 3) Pro L Series two of these sweet babies 4) Sense + Air purifier This is all in a 1,200 square foot Trailer in the desert 50 miles from Mexico. The COVID(19) I take care of on my own.

I first started using the 500-600 series after it was recommended by my ENT doctor to prevent sinus infections. It has helped tremendously. I purchased the large PRO last year. Though bigger and more obvious in the room, it was needed for a larger area of the house. I’ve even pulled it into the BR during the recent fires and slept w/o issue.... great low noise level. Only compliant is the lack of useful wheels on the heavier unit. The large wheels on the 5-600 series make it a breeze to move, even on carpet. I’m very happy wt Blue Air and have convinced family members to them to their satisfaction. BTW....I live wt 2 big dogs in the house and it helps allot to purify the air. I'm impressed with how sensitive this air cleaner is to airborne impurities in my home environment and how quickly it removes them. It's been a very good investment in this regard. Unfortunately, the erratic Wi-Fi connectivity is a major flaw and would have been a deal-breaker if I had known about it in advance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use these filters in a 500 series unit in my basement to reduce the smell of cat litter and to remove the dust from the litter, dryer and sub floor dust from above. They do a good job and I've been using them for many years.
The only problem is that the filters are way too expensive.
