Love induction, but controls could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had ordered a professional gas rangetop, but once I learned of induction and tried it, I changed my order and we installed this. Overall, I am very happy with this product. From a cooking perspective it is superior to gas and electric in my opinion. I have never seen a cooktop boil water so quickly or keep constant low temps. It is great. The reason for 4 stars is because we had to have a cooling fan replaced immediately after install and because the controls could be better. With knobs, it is very easy to adjust the burner that you want quickly. With this, you first have to select the burner, and then make adjustments. It doesn’t sound like much, but when you have a lot going on the cooktop it is annoying. Several times I have adjusted the wrong burner and then you have to push all these buttons to get everything set back to how you want it. I do love the large rectangular burners. I put a cast iron griddle on one side and I use that all the time with the flex join function. Overall, I am a convert of induction, but feel the user interface on this could be improved.

Benchmark Induction Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new Benchmark Induction Cooktop. I have the 36 in. and it is absolutely fabulous! It actually prevents food from burning on the bottom of my pans and I can't believe how fast the "boost" setting boils water. I am not new to induction, but this cooktop is so much better than my previous non-Bosch stove. I went with an induction because I really liked my old one, but this one is 100 times better. I can't recommend a better cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop has as many bells and whistles as could could possible be fit in one appliance. Once I learn them all, I expect that I will be more than pleased with this purchase. To describe it best, would be to say that one gets the functionality of a gas stove with the covenient cleanup of a ceramic electric cooktop. That doesn't even cover the extra perks like griddle capabilities, boosted heating for quick boiling and many more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven itself is great - many safety features and is easy to clean and keep clean. On draw back is that you can not use smaller induction pans even when the flexible surface is used. It simply does not detect it.
Also I am not sure how useful the WIFI is on this - there are not many features. Luckiy this is not a major issue for me....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Learning more every day

But the interface could use some collaboratio with Apple. We learn something new about how it works every day. Fortunately, the manual that accompanies it is very through.

First Induction Cooktop

During our kitchen remodel we decided against gas (too messy), but we wanted something more than our old electric cooktop. We knew induction was relatively new for the US, but was a proven technology abroad. We chose Bosch over other brands from past experience with Bosch and with its establish induction cooktop lines.

Better than expectations. Great cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch Benchmark Induction Cooktop completely meets my expectations. I had an electric element cooktop before and gas before that. Gas is fast. Sealed electric are easy to clean. This induction cooktop embodies the best of both. We used to have to pre-heat our cookware. Now, we have to have everything ready before turning on the stove. I haven't used gas in a long time so I don't know exactly how the speed rates between the two; however, it is close enough in my opinion to be just as fast. This stove is much much easier to clean, and since the cooktop itself doesn't get nearly as hot as the cookware, stuff that spills is very easy to clean. And with no knobs or anything to get in the way, cleanup is extremely easy.
So what are the con's? Well, turns out that a lot of cookware out there is not induction ready. I thought most of our previous cookware would work but it turns out that only 1 pan that we typically use would work. But that's not the cooktop's fault; just the technology I chose to buy. As for the stove itself, there is a small gap between the countertop and the stove on the left and right sides that stuff can get under. It hasn't been an issue yet as it isn't too hard to get stuff out, but it would be good to find something like a silicon caulking to prevent food stuffs from getting underneath.
Overall, very happy with the performance of induction and happy with this design that has flexible zones that accept any size of pan. If Bosch expected reliability holds true, we'll be happy with this stove for many years.

Benchmark all-induction cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek cooktop offering the abiity to heat large pans by combining separate heating areas. Conceived for intuitive use. Designed for practicality and ease of cleaning.
Our only wish is that the small silver number printed on the glass to indicate the power level be larger/easier to read. They could easily be made to light up when power is turned on, which would make them most convenient.
