Bosch induction cooktop 800

We remodeled our kitchen and switched from gas range to induction cooktop. Overall, its a really good quality cooktop. However, It takes time to get used to the touch control. I like the knobs on the stove, so cooktop's control panel is not my favorite part. In order the increase/ decteaae the temperature, first yoy have to press the botton that pertains to certain spot and next you have to change the temparature.
Cleaning if the stove ia really easy which is a big plus for me. Please keep in mind that it makes noise depending when you use high temperature.

first time with induction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gas wasn't a possibility and I am not partial to electric cooktops. I took a chance with induction... and now I am a convert. Fast, easy, with supreme control. This is my first but it wont be my last Bosch Induction cooktop!

Versatile cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cooktop. I've had it for 6 weeks and so far it has worked flawlessly. The controls are great. I wish the largest coil was also at the bottom of the cooktop but that's a relatively minor complaint. I used to have a Meile cooktop before and this works very similarly though I prefer the controls on the Bosch. Spills are easy to clean. I setup the WiFi but haven't used it yet. It appears to mostly be to control a Bosch venting hood and for remote problem diagnosis by customer support if anything does go wrong.
Overall, it works great and worth the price.

A Gem of a Cooktop

Exceptional Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did our homework and the Bosch induction cooktop came up as #1 over and over again but even so we were wowed once we installed it and started using it. Fast, even heating, no concerns about fumes (we switched from gas) and so easy to clean. Pancakes made in our frying pans look like they cam off a griddle - the heat transfer is that even. Totally delighted.

Attractive and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a long time to acquire this cooktop since it was necessary to rewire the space for it. Plus, I had to buy a Bosch oven in order for it to fit in my existing space. Then both appliances were on back order for several months. Now that it is here I have enjoyed using induction for the first time. I had to buy some new cookware, but many of the pieces I had do work. The speed of induction is great, and the controls are nice once you get used to what they do, but this is true of all electronics. One design feature that I don't like is the placement of the largest heating space. It is on the back right when the front right would be far superior, not only because it is closer to the cook but also because having the two biggest heating areas next to each other makes it difficult to fit pans. I don't understand why the two smallest spaces are in front. Cleaning the cooktop is easy, and I like the keep warm control.
