Reliable unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this monitor for about 9 months. It appears to be fairly accurate though I don't have another monitor to compare it to. Taking pressure and heart rate can be tricky at times even when using the hand pump seen at the doctor's office. For someone like me who has rhythm issues the readings will vary. Calibration of any machine may get out of sync, but there should be a way to service the machines. I like the memory feature that records and stores 100 readings per user but am most concerned with accuracy. From what I can tell this is fairly reliable and accurate. I need to get a second monitor to keep comparative readings.

My doctor approves..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took this to my doctor's to check the accuracy and as soon as I pulled it out, he said, "Oh, good you bought a good one. This one has the best rating." We then checked his reading with the Omron machine and they were within a few points. All readings, no matter how you are taking them are a few points different.
What I really like about this one is that it has a heart beat monitor. Having AFIB, that is a feature I wouldn't be without. It helps me manage my condition along with along with some excellent doctors care.

Easy and Accurate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second machine I've purchased from Omron. They are an excellent monitor. Easy to use and portable (with batteries) The cuff is easy to put on. The users manual is easy to understand.

Super Easy to Use

Not ideal situation if one is supposed to check their blood pressure. I finally gathered courage and it was so easy to use. It couldn't have gone better, medical technology intimidates me but this device was a great experience. Thank you!

I read reviews on several BP monitors and decided that this is the one I wanted. It came quicker than expected and was much easier to set up than I had thought. It was easy to place the cuff as instructed. It was easy to get a reading. I checked my wife's BP as if I had done it many times before (the machine stores two separate users' results). No problems. Easy-to-read figures. So happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

Great features and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Model 785 and I love it. Used the first one for about 8 years taking an average of probably 2 or 3 readings a day. I keep a log of the readings on my computer and the 100 reading memory is very handy for this. Occasionally my wife or one of my children want to take their blood pressure and it is easy to switch the user so it doesn't mess up my log. The compact size makes it easy to take with me up and down stairs or when on vacation. All and all I have no complaints, great machine.

Easy to use and very accurate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit because I loved my Omron pedometer so much. This unit is very accurate. I tested it right at the doctor's office and it matched up with their unit. Because it has the "history" feature I was able to show my at home readings to the doctor and we reduced my blood pressure dosage because I was always higher at the doctors office than at home.
