Bought unit in July of 2020, in spring 2021 had to have pump replaced under warranty, now, not even a year after that major repair, entire unit won't even turn on. Service takes over 2 weeks. For a machine not even 2 years old, this is really bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this a few months now and I absolutely love it! It is so quiet and my clothes smell amazing and are so clean. The quality is top-notch and all of the features are amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just added this to an apartment. Running on a normal electrical outlet and not needing to run a vent out of the apartment was key. The washing and drying are fine.

Flaw with “dry only” cycle
on December 15, 2019

I recently replaced my 9.5 year old machine with this newer model (the door lock on the previous machine broke and the “start” button also broke). The newer model is sleek. However, there’s one design change I’m very disappointed about. With the previous machine, I could run a “dry only” cycle WITHOUT a spin cycle. That does not seem to be an option on this machine. With the previous model, it was an option and in fact was recommended in one of the “how to” videos on the LG site. Since you can only dry a half load, I always run the washer, hang half the laundry, then run a dry cycle. So, the wash has JUST SPUN. Why does it need to spin again? Many owners of this machine are apartment dwellers, and despite attempts to limit vibration and noise from this machine it is very loud. I used to be able to run the dry cycle at night but now that it makes so much noise with the spin cycle, I cannot run it at night for fear of disturbing my neighbors. Very disappointed in this design change and wondering why on earth LG made this change, which downgraded this machine compared to the previous model, in my opinion.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit fits right into our beach house where a normal size washer and dryer would just take up too much room and we do small loads like bed linen and towels.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is wonderful. I have found that I need additional drying time but that is easily accomplished with a downloaded cycle. Having said that, I do not like that the machine has to be “On” in order to access it via WiFi. The other BIG issue is that to set the cycle via my phone I have to press a button on the machine itself. So why not just run it while I’m there. That seems to be a waste of feature to me. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is its lack of functionality with my Google home even though it says it is compatible. And even if it did work the machine would have to stay on all the time (which it will not do) in order to use it. To be honest had I known of the issues I have stated in this review I would have upgraded or gone with another manufacturer.
