Customer Reviews for LG - 2.3 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Smart Front-Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo with Steam and 6Motion Technology - Graphite Steel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing we liked is the metal finish. We are in a 5th wheel trailer only the washer/dryer in one would fit. We have been following Facebook and RV blog sites for 2 years. The majority of people complain about not drying their clothes. The second complaint is it takes a log time. With the LG not getting the clothes dry was NOT a problem. Yea! The long time is still there but with the features the laundry can be going on it’s own. We have tried all of the settings and are satisfied with them all. We can’t say enough good things about this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second all-in-one in 35 years, and I'm happy with it so far. The only drawback is that you can't use a dry-only cycle without a preceding 14-minute spin cycle, which is not necessary.
We purchased this washer/dryer combo because it fit perfectly in a closet. We were guarded in our expectations, but are ecstatic with the performance of the unit. It does indeed wash and dry completely. We have not explored all of the features yet, but are delighted with the ones we have used.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me give you a very in depth review. If you wash for only one person, then this washer/dryer is fine, otherwise you will find it too small. You can only fill the drum halfway if you intend to dry the clothes.
At first, it frustrated me because the manual is very poorly written. Here’s what I have discovered: the clothes come out wrinkle-free and I no longer need dryer sheets…even with polyester mixes. The clothes will feel wet when you take them out. Shake each item out and poof! they are actually dry. You have to program the dry cycle at the beginning, unless you use the Wash & Dry setting. I now use Quick Wash for just about everything. It takes less time and the clothes are just as clean.
A load will take about 4 hours to wash and dry…longer for bulky stuff. My double size sheets come out a little wrinkled, so if you have a queen bed or bigger you might have to wash each sheet separately.
There is no lint trap, so you need to clean out the rubber gaskets at the door seal. I use a damp soft cloth. It only takes 30 seconds to clean and I don’t mind. If the unit is in cool down mode (Cd) for too long, you can press the power button to unlock the unit.
Overall, I like it very much. I have learned how to use it. I throw my dirty clothes right inside the washer instead of a laundry basket. When it’s half full, I run it. I no longer procrastinate doing laundry, because the load takes just minutes to fold or hang.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this for a week. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was super easy, leveling it was easy. Read the instructions before using it. It was my own fault, but my first two loads I accidentally washed twice because I skimmed the user guide.
It's not any louder than a full-sized separate washer and dryer. The vibration isn't any worse, either. Connecting to wifi was easy, and I recommend downloading your preferred wash cycle. Drying does take longer, but because its ventless, I expected that.
I have the stainless model. It's a bit darker than I was expecting (it doesn't match my stainless fridge but I also don't care, some might), but overall it's an attractive appliance. It looks much nicer than I was expecting. The pictures don't do it justice; it looks fancier than the rest of my kitchen.
For a single person, a couple, or someone working with small space, I highly recommend. We'll see how it does long term, but so far I love it.

bought about 6-8months ago. read reviews. Some lov it some hate it. So we took a chance. We lov the washing of it, stainless steel drum, outside easy to clean, different controls of washing.
BUT! The drying. Is horrible. Doesn't collect dog hair, lint. Takes FOREVER to just dry 2 sheets(all day). We try to avoid using the dryer part and we use a clothes racks. We are trying to sell it. But we feel we are stuck with it. I asked LG about different temps on drying low, med, hot. No matter what temp. Things take hours to dry. We may buy a dryer to stack on top of it. The concept of all in 1 is good. But, I think modifications need to be dress. I ended up buy lint catchers (sticky balls) for like blankets, sheets, etc...
LG may not like this review. But as we spend alot of $ on this we feel we should state on how feel, use the product. The wifi. I used it for like a month. No big thing. It tells me when to clean the machine, when the wash is done. I wish there was like a 2.5 star rating.

I have only had this about 2 years and it has been constant issues. After about one year, we had to replace the pump 3 times. Now year 2 and the control panel has gone. I like the whole idea but it's not worth the money. I would recommend buying the extra maintenance plan which we didn't do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this washer/dryer unit after much research and I have not been disappointed with that decision. Although I have only used it a couple times, I have been impressed with its cleaning power and drying capabilities. I was worried the most about it not getting the clothes actually dry, but it seems to work great so far. Slightly loud, but I do have it in my tiny house kitchen. I did have to watch a youtube video to understand all the features because it is not straight forward. Overall, would recommend!
