[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great decision, very convenient to wash and dry... but you have to remember unit will wash 2-3 loads but really only dry 1 effectively unless you do an extra dry cycle....

Flaw with “dry only” cycle

I recently replaced my 9.5 year old machine with this newer model (the door lock on the previous machine broke and the “start” button also broke). The newer model is sleek. However, there’s one design change I’m very disappointed about. With the previous machine, I could run a “dry only” cycle WITHOUT a spin cycle. That does not seem to be an option on this machine. With the previous model, it was an option and in fact was recommended in one of the “how to” videos on the LG site. Since you can only dry a half load, I always run the washer, hang half the laundry, then run a dry cycle. So, the wash has JUST SPUN. Why does it need to spin again? Many owners of this machine are apartment dwellers, and despite attempts to limit vibration and noise from this machine it is very loud. I used to be able to run the dry cycle at night but now that it makes so much noise with the spin cycle, I cannot run it at night for fear of disturbing my neighbors. Very disappointed in this design change and wondering why on earth LG made this change, which downgraded this machine compared to the previous model, in my opinion.

What i learned through the process is that you want to do smaller loads as this makes a big difference in regards to timeliness of the total process. I was definitely overloading with my previous machine! The newer version is sleek, compact, perfect for living in a flat! However, the noise factor does make you feel like you are preparing for liftoff! Otherwise good efficient product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really upset to say the least and if they had an option for zero stars I would chosen that instead. I thought about all of the good things I could say about this product, great for small homes etc. But all of the great things are meaningless especially when the flaws outdo the good. I’m not wealthy by any means as of yet, yet I have invested in myself a purchase of this magnitude and has only gotten worse. I may not have clean clothes in the morning. Ever sense February 2018 this error code is more frequent. How? How do you sell a product knowing that the consumers are not going to know anything about draining the drum at the bottom etc etc.That’s gotten ten times worse and frequent as well. If anyone at this company had any type of integrity they would recall this product! Do Not Buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's only been a couple of weeks, but I'm already so delighted with this appliance. It is efficient, attractive, and all in a compact size. I had a combo washer-dryer from another manufacturer for many years, so this upgrade has been a happy surprise: greater wash and dry capacity, faster speeds, steam, phone alerts. Wow.
If you live in a big city, a washer-dryer is a luxury item, if only because we don't often have the space for such a big footprint. The LG is the perfect solution.

Great little washer/dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this for a week. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was super easy, leveling it was easy. Read the instructions before using it. It was my own fault, but my first two loads I accidentally washed twice because I skimmed the user guide.
It's not any louder than a full-sized separate washer and dryer. The vibration isn't any worse, either. Connecting to wifi was easy, and I recommend downloading your preferred wash cycle. Drying does take longer, but because its ventless, I expected that.
I have the stainless model. It's a bit darker than I was expecting (it doesn't match my stainless fridge but I also don't care, some might), but overall it's an attractive appliance. It looks much nicer than I was expecting. The pictures don't do it justice; it looks fancier than the rest of my kitchen.
For a single person, a couple, or someone working with small space, I highly recommend. We'll see how it does long term, but so far I love it.
