Bad quality grill

The cast iron grill was broken when installed. Good burners .

Love my GE cooktop!

Great cooktop! Boiling liquid is fast and clocks evenly compared to my 20 year old cooktop. The surface cleans up easily and not smudged. The appearance is sleek and modern.

Coating isn't up to par

We chose to go with a full suite of Cafe appliances (oven, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher) in one of our homes. So far everything has been good except the stovetop, knobs are plastic. I understand why, but not thrilled with the lifespan of the coating on the knobs. Additionally, no warranty or replacement offered on the knobs; expect you to pay additional for faulty quality.

Works well, looks great. Easy to clean and use. Love the amount of cooking “real estate” in my 36” Cafe gas cooktop.

Nothing but scratches

I have had my cafe' gas cook top for about 2 years now. I am sorry I bought it. It started scratching the first time I used it. The little pieces of food actually scratch it when your wiping it up with a dish rag of just a sponge! It's a mess and the burner covers are completely discolored. I do like the power burner and the small burner.
