LOVE this watch! Great for a full time working mom that doesn't want to miss a beat with daycare, work, or play. Super nice to have a more feminine looking style and size too. I recommend this watch over any other watch out there.

Loving my new watch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my watch within the past two weeks. I have yet to add it to my account with cell service (trying to lower my bills) but I've been using it on bluetooth. On bluetooth the range is awesome. I have left my phone several feet away and been able to come back and it connects seamlessly. I love the reminders to walk and get to moving especially the little exercises it offers if I cant leave my seat or have been standing too long. I have timers at my job for the safes and I can set a reminder by voice when to go back and open them. Lastly it looks so nice. I opted for the gold 42 and purchased new bands for it. The face looks classy and even with the included band it looks nice too I'm excited for my purchase. I have also washed my hands with it on with no issues.

For two days in a row my watch was charged overnight and I put it on in the about 7 am and by 7:30 pm it was saying low battery. Yikes. The battery did not last overnight but at 7:30 pm it should not be saying low battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

10% battery drain per hour

I already returned one for the same problem. I have the 42mm LTE on Verizon. Even with the LTE, bluetooth, and wifi all off, pulse set to frequent, location off, screen time out at 10 seconds, it drains too quickly to make it through a single day at work.
It would be fantastic if not for the battery life.

When will I quit you, Samsung?

First of all, why doesn't Verizon already have the watch's device ID in its data base? You sell me a watch that takes days to get activated. Second, what is with the poor step tracker? I compared with my S2 for an entire day. The beautiful Galaxy Watch recorded 38 percent less steps. For what I spent on this watch, I should be enjoying a much better experience, not sitting here looking at and waiting for activation. If after activation, if the step tracker does not improve, you are getting this watch back, no matter how pretty it looks.

I got this a few days ago and its honestly love it but whenever I use Spotify on speaker for a few seconds it starts to overheat on my wrist and slightly burns it doesn't leave a burn mark but you can feel the metal part start to heat up. Is that normal or a malfunction?
Pros: Lightweight, Built-in speakers
I would recommend this to a friend!

Laughable fitness tracker and no app support

As a fan of samsung products, I was excited when my girlfriend gifted me the galaxy watch for Christmas. However, I could not be more disappointed with this watch.
The fitness tracker is terrible. The watch fails to count roughly half the number of steps taken each day and rarely counts any flight of stairs. I have compared these numbers while also wearing my fitbit and using the google fit app on my phone. At the end of the day, my fitbit and phone will record nearly the same number of steps, but the galaxy watch will count anywhere between 40%-60% of the total steps.
In addition, the app support with this watch is dissapointing. There is a clear lack of widgets and apps that are compatible with the watch.
Hopefully samsung addresses these issues and fixes them in the near future. As of right now, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this watch 2 weeks ago and returned it 5 days later. I loved being able to talk on my phone through the watch. But that is where my love ended. As long as I had my phone with me I could play music and get texts. I would never let me set up my encrypted work email. It wasn't independently compatible with any of my Google apps. The selling point for me was to be able to leave my phone behind when I go walking at lunch. However, in order to do so, I have to be able to receive my emails. The only way to add music directly to the watch was to have the music resident on the phone. It doesn't work with Google Play. So I literally had to connect my phone directly to my PC and copy music files to a music folder on the phone. It also automatically synced EVERYTHING to the watch...including all of my notifications and ring tones. What a pain. Every time I want to change a playlist I would have to do this? No thanks. It also doesn't work with Message+. In reading reviews it sounds like Samsung decided to use their own OS on the watch so it doesn't work with 3rd parties. The watch face also seemed too heavy for the band.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
