I had High Hopes

I love the color. That alone makes me want to keep it as it looks beautiful against my skin. The band is a great fit for my little wrist. Big Kuddos for those two features.
Samsung is one of my favorite top brands. My relationship with Samsung is tight and I trust Samsung over any other brand. This would be my third watch. I'm currently switching between the Gear S3 and the Galaxy Watch that I've had for a month now. There's nothing that I can say stands out from the Samsung Gear S3. The only thing is the color Rose Gold and the band. I have the smaller size and I can't see the text because I was so used to the bigger screen.
The battery life last only 20hrs for me and I haven't set up any notifications yet. Immediately after I take it off the charge it drops to 97%. My Gear S3 doesn't drop that quick.
The Health features doesn't recognize my movements. I work out daily and sometimes it will say well done and other times nothing. I'll have the Gear S3 on the other hand it's blowing up on my activity.

Everything else about the watch is the same features as the Gear S3. If someone can tell me something different, please do because I want to believe there was a Signiant update to this new watch. I'm going to keep the watch for when I'm at work and fancy places, but it's not my favorite. I wish it had me at HELLO!

Another masterpiece from Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned quite a few samsung smart watches like the Gear fit, 2 x Galaxy Gear S, Gear S2 (LTE), Gear S3 Frontier (LTE), Galaxy Watch 46mm(LTE) and now the Galaxy Watch 42mm (LTE). And with every new iteration, I've always seen a nice improvement of some type over the last, and the latest Galaxy Watch series is no exception. When I went from the gear s2 to the gear s3 fronteir, it took some time getting used to the big increase in watch size. And now, going from the Galaxy Watch 46mm to the Galaxy Watch 42mm, again, it's taking some getting used to.
You'll find that the Galaxy Watch 42mm is actually the same size as the Gear S2 was, even the tempered glass screen protectors I had for the Gear S2 fit nicely on the new Galaxy Watch 42mm. As a matter of fact, the screen protectors and bands that I have for the Gear S3 work perfectily on the Galaxy Watch 46mm as well, I've already tested it the Gear S3 fronteir accessories I own on the Galaxy Watch 46mm and found they work. If you're like me and owned previous versions of the smart watches, you might also be happy to know that the chargers for both the Gears S2 and the Gear S3 work with the latest Galaxy Watches, both the 42 and 46mm versions. Although the 42mm Galaxy Watch model does fit the S2 charger better than the Galaxy Watch 46mm model does since the 42mm watch is essentially the same size as the Gear S2, but it does indeed work.
As for the Galaxy Watches themselves, the increase in battery life, even by a day or two, is a VERY welcomed improvement. Another improvement I'm thrilled about is the ability to swim with the watches on and not worrying about damaging it. The Galaxy Watch is rated to be water resistent for water pressures up to 5 ATM. If you translate 5 ATM directly, that would equal 50m or about 165ft. However, they state it's not for scuba diving and it's water resistent for just normal swimming. The reason for this is because when you swim, you are actually exerting more ATM's of pressure/force as your arm crashes down while swimming. Just remember, swimming ok, scuba diving not ok, and you'll be fine :)
I do use this the Galaxy watch (and it's predecessors) extensively when I exercise, like for tracking my walks/runs, weight lifting and other exercises. The Samsung Health integration and sleep tracking are features I'm constantly using to track my general well being. I have a world clock setup on my watch with times from different areas around the world that are relevant to my needs as well as weather forecasting apps. I tend to change my watch face and watch bands regularly to fit what ever i'm wearing that day or my mood for the day or to fit some specific purpose.
One feature I've had to use was the find my phone and find my watch :) I just hate it when i set my phone down (or watch) and forget where i put it, luckily i can use my watch to find my lost phone and vice versa.
Samsung pay integration is another nice feature of these watches. I frequently use my Samsung S10+ to pay at stores, but recently I've started using my watch alot to make payments as well. Although, unlike the Samsung phones, which can use NFC and the older magnetic swipe techonology to make payments, the watch only works with NFC payment technology. Which is fine, I tend to use the watch on the vending machine at work a lot since it takes cc's and uses nfc.
In all, I love these Samsung Watches and with every new generation I enjoy them even more than the last. After years of owning various Samsung smart watches, I can no longer imagine not owning a Samsung smart watch in the future.

Trendy smart watch with amazing design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has done a great work with this smart watch. It is trendy, and has an amazing design. The display is very clear, so much that if not looking up close one may mistake it for a regular classic watch.
I was a little skeptic about getting it, as I don't own a Samsung smart phone, but it seemed to pair well with any Android smart phone. The pairing was also very simple and straightforward. There are multiple prompts to get you going with the whole process. The gesture based navigation seemed to work much better than I had anticipated.
To get the full experience, I would recommend getting a carrier based service for the watch as well. This would ensure that the watch could pretty much replace your cell phone, if needed.
Also, the packaging came with two straps to cover for different wrist sizes. That was something that I was really happy about.

I'v had it for a year now and its still looks brand new, apps are great and the 4G is so awesome! Use it all the time when I'm running around town or at the gym, i don't need to care my phone around. I also use it in the water everyday, really an amazing watch!

My Favorite Smartwatch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the navigation system in my car stopped working, I listened to music on my phone when I drive. Now that I have my Smartwatch, I can listen to music while I drive without the added risk of a car accident. It has really made my life much more easier. I love to make voice memos that helps keep me on top of things. It removes a lot of hassle out of my life having access to my photos, emails, and documents on my wrist. My smartwatch has filled my life with so many more new effective tools that I love to use every day. My favorite feature is the ability to watch movies and music videos on YouTube. I was very impressed with the quality of the picture and sound. I love listening to music on YouTube, using the heart rate monitor, and pedometer.

I love the features of this watch, however if you want rose gold be prepared for it to be just plain gold in a couple months. Very disappointing, I wanted a pinky color. Not plain gold, for the price I'm disappointed in the color change. I would no recommend anyone buying this color.

Sporty and smart!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch was awesome. Very sporty and easy to use. Pairing and tracking was flawless btwn my devices. The audio quality was great. The battery life is a bit short if it's not on power saving mode, I usually charge daily. Otherwise it was a very nice watch and set up took less than a minute!
