Battery life 18 hours at best!

I bought the watch for my mom for her birthday. With the heart sensor off, gps off, always on is off, brightness set to 6, basic watch face, she gets at best 18 hours on a charge. We have even sent it in for repairs and they replaced the battery, but still not holding charge past 18hrs. She doesnt listen to music and might accept four 30 second calls. Are we the only people experiencing this? Can't even get 24 hrs andvthey claim 72?!!!

The watch is really, really nice looking. It was definitely one of the biggest reasons I swapped from my Apple Watch. Regretfully there isn't much else really all that great about the watch. Here are my chief issues. -If you are looking to integrate with other apps for health data, this is not the watch for you. It can only send data to Samsung Health which in turn can't send it to other apps. Even to sync to Google Fit you have to have a 3rd party app on your phone. -Inaccurate Fitness Data. The step tracker is off compared to most other devices. It shorts you a couple thousand steps a day. I've also noticed the flights of stairs metric is really bad. I've done 20-30 flights before and it picked up 2. - Lack of actual apps for Watch. There are very few actual non workout apps out there. Sure Samsung Pay on the watch is amazing, but not really much else. I don't use a whole lot of apps, but this is just a bit off putting.

i bought this watch and i am so very disappointed. The battery doesn't even last a day. I turn off WIFI, location and bluetooth and i still can't get the watch to last longer than 7 hours. i don't use it for music or working out, i occasionally check my emails and thats about it. i hope samsung fixes this problem soon because the value of this watch is not up to part with its performance.

Useless... besides telling time.

This watch underperforms at almost everything it is made to do except tell time. The battery life is abysmal, no matter how I setup the settings. I have a job that requires I leave my phone in a locker. I can't listen to spotify on here for more than a few hours. Even then it has to be offline mode. I pay for service on here so that I can be reached when away from my phone, but standalone LTE mode absolutely murders the battery. I have to turn off activity detection and regular heart monitoring... pretty much everything you buy the watch to do can't be done without cutting battery life down to a small fraction. I was going to send it back but really need to stay connected while my phone is in my locker. It's just frustrating trying to manage use to avoid the watch dying half way through my shift.

EXCELLENT BATTERY LIFE!

I don't what the other reviewers are talking about. I got the LTE version, have been wearing it all day, with all notifications on. It's 4:32pm and I have 87% batter left. I had the S2 last, and this BLOWS it away as far as battery life is concerned. I love the look, but the functionality seems to be the same as the S2 (which I loved, I just needed something I could wear to work and out at night). I just wish there was a metal band option for this one. Thanks Samsung!

Battery problems

Very pretty, but battery life doesn't last even a whole day of work. It drains so very quickly. I'm bummed because I have to return it. My husband has the 46mm one and hasn't had the same issues as my rose gold one.
