You have to really determine the best possible position of the sensor to get the best efficiency heating/air and cost saving in the room you monitor. We haven’t achieved that just yet but believe our goals will have been met.
No Apple HomeKit, no desktop app, no reports on system usage. I purchased 2 for a 2 zone home and installed 1. I might sell the other and replace with one of the other major brands
So far it has wiorked oerfectly. My teens want their doors closed which causes the thermostat in the hallway to constantly call for heat. Their rooms would get so warm that they would open their windows. I put two remote sensors in their rooms and that problem has gone away. The hallway isn't the warmest but a small price to pay to keep money from going rright out the window.
I wanted a new thermostat that was smart and this one does an amazing job. In addition to connecting to WiFi I added the smart sensors to two different rooms and I am very pleased with how it maintains room temperature.
Easy to install and setup. Using this in mobile home with forced air system with 4 remote sensors. Appears to be working well and controlling heat. Main unit in living room is primary. A+
