I had such high hopes for this unit. It has let me down.
First off all, it would not let me connect via wifi. Trying to get support was non existant. After much research, I found that for some reason, it will not work with Netgear (multiple routers). Even though I tried many things, including putting it in the DMZ. I ended up getting another router (linksys). That worked.
The second issue is it freaked out one time and said it was 120 degrees inside. I took it off the wall and put it back but that didn't fix it. I had to set it back to factory and that fixed it.
Third, I gave up on geofencing. It works on my wife phone, but on my phone I have to have the app open in order to have it realize I left the house. Same phone, same app, only difference is that mine is the primary account holder. I was tired of heating the house all day if I forgot to open the app so it realizes I have left. I set it back to schedule.
I shouldn't have gotten rid of my old thermostat...

Very easy to install with just basic hand tools l, works great and lowered my electric bill. Had great customer service. First one arrived and was DOA contacted seller and had a new one in the next day.

Very nice thermostat. The “C” wire adapter work perfect. Programs easily. The only complaint was, when the one time geofence didn’t pick up and let the thermostat I was home, there was no way that I found to override it. Except to put in on “Hold”. it would not come off “away setting” until I left the house again and came back the next morning.

I ;love my new thermostat. The temperature is easy to see from across the room, easy to program from my Alexa app and best of all, I can adjust temperature in the house from anywhere in the world. It was also very easy to inbstall.
