Installation instructions were clear and easy to understand, making installation easy. The thermostat is the perfect balance of simplicity and technology. I can control my thermostat from anywhere with the app on my phone, or walk up and hit button like I used to.

Great product. Set up directions were not great. Also it constantly disconnects from WiFi even when everything else stays connected.

Really like it, been one of the best Smart Thermostats I’ve used. Would be nice if it gave you usage reports though. Also for multi-stage systems, would be nice if it showed on the home screen what stage it was running in. For example a two stage furnace, when stage 2 is on, have that on the main screen with like a flame icon with a 2 in it. Right now you have to go to equipment status to see what stage is running. I do like that it shows heat/cool as a background color.

I had a friend who is an H/A tec install it. He could not get the heat pump heating working. I have to use “emergency heat”. He is researching how to fix it.

The T9 was easy to install on our new Trane system, and the phone app was easy to initiate. The best thing about it is the secondary thermostat. The worst thing about it is that the settings do not allow it to get dim enough. We ended up getting some "Dim It" film strips to darken it enough to sleep.
