Don't buy this thermostat, it has problems

This Thermostat keeps asking me to set date and time
It keeps losing internet connection and it is 15 feet away from the Wi-Fi Extender
Doesn't work with the mobil app, had trouble setting it up
Don't buy it, return it for your money back.

Truly a nice upgrade to a necessity in every home

This thermostat is truly well made and very easy to install. I love the sensitivity where it keeps my house comfortable without waiting too long to turn on or cycle every 10 minutes. My favorite feature is how it is web connected so I can connect with Google Home. This allows me to adjust my schedule and say "Ok Google Lightning" and it is programmed to shut off appropriately so power fluctuations don't damage the compressor.
Pros:
* Easy install and a help line that uses your cell phone as a pointer to help with wiring as needed
* Very easy to configure various heatpumps/a/c units and other more complex situations with multiple stages
* Absolutely love the additional room sensors you can buy to give you the right temperature in a room you are in
Cons:
* As mentioned there are few. First one will be that going through the set-up wizard, I wasn't fully clear whether the heat pump valve was set-up correctly. First time cool gave off heat. With one call they helped me change that setting
* The sensor humidity levels are about 10% higher than actual. We have two of these units and 5 incremental sensors, each show the same 10% higher than our current gauges. It is not an issue, the units keep us very comfortable
* The menu might need a little work. Many times there is a "done" button but that doesn't work, you have to hit the back arrows on the top left to get back to main screen. Again little details.
Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this brand and this unit. It really has made something we use more useful and enjoyable to use in Florida.

This product was super easy to install even for a non-DIY person like myself. The additional sensor, which sits in my third floor bedroom, is a huge help regulating temperature in the kind of vertical house I have, where the central AC unit is in the basement.

Very nice thermostat, really like the remote sensors, activity monitor, and temperature averaging. DO NOT like the fact that this unit will not connect to Apple Homekit.

This product works well. Only problem is it keeps going offline. Which means you can’t see or do anything from a connected device. It be online for a day or two then loses connection. My router is only 15 feet away from this thing.
