Works good as a normal thermostat but geofencing and vacation mode does not work. When using these modes and your away it basically shuts down my HVAC and disregards the away temperatures set
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really appreciate the remote sensor option. Our house doesn't cool evenly between upstairs and downstairs. Putting the sensor upstairs has really helped improve comfort throughout the house. Only issues I have: 1) the interface seems a little buggy and at times seems to miss a request to change the set temperature. 2) The display shows the priority temperature instead of the temperature in the thermostat's location, which gets confusing.

Not as easy to set up as every other thermostat I’ve installed. I had it all connected and went to set the temp and all it showed was heat and off. I had to go in and chance pre programmed settings to get it to show AC. Only after so took it off to check my wiring, and also reinstalled my old thermostat to make sure I didn’t have an issue with my unit. It’s not very user friendly when it come to install.

We live in a two story and the thermostat is on the first floor. I was always having to change the temperature, and the top floor was often too warm. This thermostat with the secondary monitor upstairs has evened out the house temperature, and I can even set up a schedule so the focus changes. I no longer have to keep fiddling with the temperature and the house is now comfortable throughout the day.
