3 Issues prevent this from being rated higher. First, while most other thermostats that most people had originally are wider than high, this is higher than wide, so you'll probably have some wall touchup to do. Second, you'll be paying for a "C" wire adapter whether you need one or not. The C wire adapter should be an option to buy as well as a wall plate adapter to avoid wall repair. Third, the menu on the unit itself is confusing, I had trouble figuring out how to adjust the daily schedule items. I had to use the cell phone app to do what I wanted. Further, before buying, I had trouble finding out if this thermostat can control my new 2 stage furnace. It's not in the information anywhere and you have to assume it will only because it has a "W2" terminal. Also, if you want additional remote sensors, they seem expensive relative to what you pay for the unit itself and the sensor that is included.
Very pleased with the thermostat. Install was not bad at about 2 hours, but I had to install the C wire power supply. Setup went smoothly but I chose the wrong setting and didn’t have AC. Very easy to go back in and change. I love the room sensor. It’s really helped balance the house temps and show me the temp differences. I was skeptical it would even help. The app is also simple and easy to use. I showed my daughter and she ordered the same package.
Great unit and I especially am pleased with the smart sensor. It’s great to know the temperature on each floor of the house and be able to set the temperature accordingly.

My T9 shows the wrong time and when I try to change it says it is set by the internet. It will not let me change it. The app on the phone will not connect.
