I haven’t used it for AC yet but I love being able to control it with my phone. It’s connected to the power from my furnace so no batteries. It’s also connected to my internet though WiFi. So far I love it.

The thermostat works well and has a smooth UI. The display is very simple and looks good. I think the app’s layout for setting up a schedule could be improved, but it’s not terrible. The ability to have multiple remote temperature sensors and assign priority to different ones is very useful. Overall, I’m very happy with the product.

It works very well, but during the day we set the temperture to 72 degrees starting at 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Then we wish it to just drop the tempature to 68 degrees from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM. My problem is that when it gets close to 10:00 PM, the unit starts blowing cold air, cooling until it gets to 68. We want the unit just to stay off and let the temperture drop to the desired degrees.

Wanted to have our thermostat be in our bedroom instead of the original installed location. Buying this thermostat and putting a sensor in our bedroom solved the problem for much less $ than having the original thermostat relocated. I do wish that the sensor had a display screen with the current temperature. App worked great once I figured out how to save the programs (was not intuitive to me, but maybe that's just me), only wish that both our honeywell thermostats used the same app. We have a different honeywell smart thermostat that runs a different part of our house, but it uses a different app and we don't want to spend the money to get a same app compatible one when it functions just fine. All in all it was a good buy and solved our issue. 4 stars because the sensor does not show any info and I feel like the app could be a little easier to figure out, but these don't really affect functionality, just convenience.
