Ability to override/use only room sensor disables schedule which defeats purpose. Schedule and room sensor priority should be independent. This permit a single or group of sensor use with schedule. Fan circulation % is fixed to 33% which needs to be programmable like other Honeywell thermostats. Same should be for humidity threshold. All honeywell thermostat use single app. T9 needs different app which is problematic for houses with different honeywell models.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

- Fan Circulation mode fixed to 33% while every other Honeywell thermostat permits improbability makes the circulation model useless. - Schedule does not work When room sensors are used as priority. Schedule and Room sensor priority selection must be independent. Very Limiting design choice. - If you have non-T series smart honeywell thermostat, you will need 2 apps. Honeywell should have ONLY 1 app that works with all remotes.
The T9 is a big improvement over the older, single temperature sensor wifi thermostats. The room activity sensors helps to keep the temperature comfortable in the room in use.
Great upgrade from old thermostat which was hard to read. This thermostat was located in a hallway away from our sliding glass doors in our Carolina room which we routinely open to allow cool, fresh morning air inside. The old thermo would go on so we would have to turn it off. With the T9 we were able to locate the temperature sensor in our family room and this problem has been eliminated.
Easy to install if you follow the instructions. Note that you MUST turn off power at the fuse box or run the risk of a small arc which may blow the fuse on your unit requiring a technician to replace it. I know it happened to me when I install my old thermostat 9 years ago.
We are so pleased with it that I have purchased a second one for our upstairs family room which is my college football watching room!
Before we purchased the T9 Thermostat with the remote sensors, our bedroom temperature would fluctuate up to 10 degrees through the night. However, once the T9 was installed and we identified our master bedroom as the priority room at night, the temperature remains constant with no more than a 1 degree variation during the night. Makes for a much more comfortable sleeping environment. (Heads up! Let me recommend you register your T9 using the smart phone app rather than going to the online web site. It's much easier and the on line web site requires thermostat identification numbers that my T9 did not have.)
