The thermostat does not connect well with the app and rarely connects and does not turn off when it hits the temperature. Instead it continues to run and run which is awful for our electric bill and ecosystem.

Well, it takes a lot of time to make friendship between you and your new thermostat... It is like a marriage - step by step you discover something good or bad in your partner. But as long as I use it - I like it.

Thermostat works great, easy to install. The only issue I have and I can’t figure out why when I do a temporary change to the temperature it doesn’t reset to follow the schedule at the next schedule time. For instance, if I turn the AC down 2° at 7 PM, it will come back and say hold until 4 PM, and not 10 PM, which is the start of the next scheduled period.

Any engineer that thinks a control unit that loses its settings with a power outage should not be an engineer. How can you not fit a button backup battery into this?

I like the thermostat, especially with the sensors. i did find the included wall plate unfriendly. It's too small to cover the existing hole from my previous honeywell wall plate thus requiring another hole in the wall and wall repair.

The thermostats is easy to use and I like the fact that you can program individual days as well as setting the fan to circulate in the evening instead of just the auto mode. The remote thermostat is also a great tool as it all allows you to be comfortable in the room you want during the day and time that you set.
