Better than my previous thermostat

Love the design and display, easier installation than expected, used only one smart phone for setup, ability to choose 5GHz or 2.4GHz for internet connection, sets heat or cool automatically. Wish the thermostat itself had a motion sensor, and the app/software allowed more flexibility for advanced users who want to use a combination of geofencing, motion sensing, and prioritizing when setting up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One t9 doesn't sync or work with another t9

I have two hvac units and cant make both work together. please update software to sync with other thermostats and then it is a SEVEN (5) STAR thermostat hands down!

Great Thermostat Terrible App

It's very annoying that the App continuously locks you out, it does not hold a username or password so they both need to be re-entered every time. Additionally, it has a Pass Code feature which also does not work. No matter how many times you set your pass code it does not take it. When this happens it kicks you back out to the Original login screen.
Note: once you turn on Pass Code as a feature you can't turn it off, even though the app allows you to shut it off, it does not, it still requires it. Finally it has a Biometric fingerprint feature to get in but based on the other two methods not working there's no way I would even turn that feature on. They need their programmers to make the app comparable quality to the actual Thermostat. If you don't care about WIFI/mobile phone access to your thermostat, the actual physical T9 thermostats and Sensors are good. Dear Honeywell, this isn't an online banking app, knock of the unnecessary security features that don't work!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the hardware, instructions and ease of installation are all top notch but the interface with the app is substandard. Unfortunately, I have been completely unable to connect one of three T9s to my account and so cannot control that unit remotely, and I have been unable to successfully invite any other family members to join the account as "users".
