My previous thermostat T4 died and I replaced it with T9. Entire process took 2 minutes. On top we purchased two remote sensors which helped significantly with uniform temperature across entire house

15min to install and connect to Wifi. In minutes you can set schedules and temps and adjust temps anytime from your phone. The external temp sensor is a game changer because my original thermostat is located in a hallway that gets direct sun exposure int he winter months. This causes the thermostat sometimes to activate cooling when heat is actually needed in the rest of the house. Remote thermostat is now placed in a room that represents the actual temp of the home overall.

I purchased this thermostat as a "drop in" replacement for a Honeywell thermostat that came with my new HVAC unit. It allowed me to just pop the old one off and new one on without redoing the wiring which I really appreciate. One big downside and why I have rated it 3 stars is because of the trouble I had getting it connected to my app. There is a well documented issue with it not using the DNS settings that are configured on your local network and in my setup with a fairly advanced network and internet configuration it took me 3 separate days of troubleshooting to get it all working reliably. Some people may not have any issue at all but as I mentioned, it is well documented on the internet as I was doing a lot of googling to try and solve my problem and saw many others with the same struggles. Once it was setup it has worked great
