I thought knowing the weather made it smart and energy efficient. That is wrong. I've caught it turning on the a/c right before a freezing rain night cause the inside temp went 1⁰ too high for its liking. When obviously the house would drop in tem0 over night. Also even though I have sensors and it's supposed to average the temp. Multiple rooms have been well below the set temp for the heat to cut on
This product is great, especially if you’re thermostat is upstairs and you hate climbing steps you can actually operate this one from your phone, which makes it very convenient so you don’t have to clean stairs every time to change the temperature
I got my thermostat from Mass Saves and it has been horrible. My breakers keep tripping. I had to pay for an electrician to come twice so far. My last WiFi thermostat worked perfectly. I am going to put the old one back. I was trying to upgrade. I think I got lemons.
So far, so good. I had a HVAC tech install it and it's working like a charm. It's easy to use and we know the house temperature from anywhere, which is great for when we travel. I would recommend this product over the Google Nest, which is more expensive.
Our local church HVAC was controlled with 6 Honeywell T7300 stats. They served there time but we needed to update the system so it could be controlled remotely and help with last minute schedule changes. The new T9s were installed with remote sensors and everything went smoothly. So far they are performing as expected.
