The T9 with a sensor in my bedroom will not connect unless i am in the bedroom, which is upstairs.The rest of the house is connected to a Good Honeywell Thermostat,which controls all the rest of the home. I installed the T9 Thermostat in 2022. And I have installed 7 T9 Thermostats in my complex up until last year.

I used to work for Honeywell Commercial Building Supply back in the 90’s where temperature averaging units were a standard installation. Finally they are available to residential applications to ensure the whole house gets even temperature control for pleasant comfort.

Great thermostat- got it to replace an older Honeywell model (t4 pro series) in our home. Easy install and setup and it works perfectly. I’m leaving 4 stars, however, as although the T4 and T9 are compatible with wiring, the wall plate is different and the new T9 sits awkwardly on the wall plate. No new wall plate included with the thermostat and none available for sale anywhere…. So fantastic function, but doesn’t look great on the wall….
