Great smart thermostat and Resideo app. Simple and intuitive. Especially like the remote sensors that can be placed in individual rooms and activated to either manually select a room for sensing the temp or programmed to sense activity.

Better than the old thermostat but could have more

While this thermostat is definitely a step up from the old one we had installed with the new furnace and a/c, there is one thing missing. The access over Wi-Fi is great and it is very configurable, especially with the extra room sensor, now we can balance the temperature better throughout the house (we don't always get the best temperature distribution because of the layout).
The thing that we don't like is that it doesn't have a running tab on what the system has been doing like other smart thermostats. We can't see when the furnace or a/c turned on or off, how long it was running for, and how much power it consumed. Apparently that was part of the feature set of this thermostat before the the Resideo brand was spun off from Honeywell. If you read the information provided, it says that we're supposed to receive a monthly summary of our usage instead of a running tally like other smart thermostats, but we've never received one of those, either.
All in all, it seems to be a good, solid product, but certainly lacking features that come with the technology, and definitely the price, of a device such as this.

I love both my T-9 thermostats, easy to install and program. Only issue for me was to add on second thermostat in programming to add on to my cell phone.

The thermostat is ok I guess but ever since it was installed, our AC unit had a tough time reaching the desired temperature set ending up creating a small flood in our basement. Probably due to a leak of coolant though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
