I replaced an older Nest thermostat because I wanted something that reliably integrated into HomeKit and allowed me to trigger actions based off of heating/cooling status. This thermostat paired to HomeKit fine, but always reports as offline. If I reboot it I can get it to connect for a few hours but then it goes offline again.
Works fine through the Resideo app, but even that has quirks. I’ve found myself walking out to the AC compressor to confirm it’s on because niether the Stat display itself or the app make it clear when it’s actively cooling. Truly disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For years we had a problem keeping home at a uniform temperature. The T9 thermostat and two remote sensors were the answer to our problem! Easy install and setup, and a comfortable temperature throughout our home.

We have two of these thermostats installed for our two-zone AC along with 3 sensors. We've been struggling with keeping the temps consistent throughout our home and this thermostat along with the remote sensors have solved that problem.
Our daughters bedroom was always 7-10 degrees warmer than the rest of our home, as was my upstairs office. With the sensors in place, we can keep temps balanced throughout our entire home.
We had different models of Honeywell thermostats already installed, so for us, installing these was a piece of cake. Simply popped off the old ones and snapped on the new ones since the mount was the same. The sensors were setup and running within a few minutes.
We picked these up through our local energy providers website and were able to take advantage of instant rebatess which was a 50% savings.
