Easy to set up and use. Keeps accurate temperature. Reasonable price. Rebates for energy-saving practices available. Three negatives: large size of sensors, lack of non-wall-mounting options for the sensors, and the option for fan on/off time cannot be adjusted.

My new build home had a basic on the wall manual thermostat and I was used to having the Nest at my old home. I didn't want to go with the Nest as it seems their products have gone downhill and have a shorter lifespan. After doing my research I chose the T9 with the extra sensor. That extra sensor is great as the master bedroom gets warmer than the rest of the house in the afternoons/evenings. Having it in there really helps to keep the bedroom cool so I can sleep at night.

I replaced my old Honeywell thermostat which actually still worked well, with this smart thermostat. I absolutely love how it looks I love the different colored screens for cooling and heating, and it is so convenient to use it with my phone! You can absolutely schedule it to not be kicking on when you’re not home and then come on before you get home, but I like doing it manually from my phone as well. It’s very convenient and it looks really nice! Works great!! Keep in mind if you buy this when you first get it to work with your HVAC system, there might be a slight long pause before your AC turns on when you were testing it, once it’s established it comes on immediately! This kind of confused me thinking it wasn’t working properly but it was just it trying to communicate with the heat pump!

It's ok. I upgraded from the T6 which was totally not usable. T9 is a good upgrade if you can get it for cheap with sensors. However, the app doesn't works sometimes. Geofencing is basically useless since it doesn't work. The app is super basic and doesn't support many modern features. Scheduling and sensors work well.
