East to set up, the room sensor is a nice touch. We have the sensor in the bedroom so at night we have it set to maintain 65 degrees when sleeping.. Only complaint is the differential setting. It's factory set and locked for 1.5 degree difference. Seems the heat/Ac runs more than it should compared to a 2 or 2.5 degree differential thermostat. The ac is barley off for 5-6min on a hot day before its running again for another 10min.. Honeywell wont let you change this setting unfortunately.. Obv. everyone's house is different that would affect this..
The thermostat works great, but the app could use some improvements. I often have to force close and reopen the app to get the current information/house temps and settings.
I wish it had more than a vacation schedule sometimes when reading remotely the inside temp reads off from setting then if I watch it a few more times it then shows inside temp as the set temp ?? Sometimes it seems to go off schedule and just sets temp where it wants ??
T9 thermostat works great! Very easy to install, program and adjust later. Only issue is that the remote sensor gobbles up batteries like nobody’s business. 2 AAA batteries last less than a month, in fact we’re lucky if we get 3 weeks from a fresh set.
The ability to shift sensors to different locations solves problems of a single AC/heating system in a two story home, however delays in shift changes are disconcerting. Also, shift is not reflected in display.
Geofence is not reliable. Your are back home and the thermostat does not always see you. There should also have an 'absent' button so we could switch from temp program to absent without having to reprogram the schedule when you are back home.
