Its a great thermostat for single heat systems. It works great, connects to internet fast, easy to install. The only downside that i learned was when i moved from one house to another and i learned that my new house has a dual heat system. It can be made working the system by rewiring, but i really have to upgrade and spend another 200 now to buy a T10 because T9 is not designed to handle it… so just fruit for thoughts you better go with the T10 to start with to avoid spending double the money

The T9 was easy to install as a replacement for an old thermostat. It feels like a smart phone, plus is working well through the Resideo app. There is a certain elegance for this "smart phone on the wall" solution. Connecting to the old wires was very easy and there was no configuration needed for the thermostat, as it self-identified the wires and type of connection. The only mini challenge was to identify and run a neutral wire that didn't exist in the old thermostat, and while the kit comes with an adaptor, I preferred to use one of the extra wires in the cable as neutral. I have examined it while traveling and it works fine. I need more thermostats for some of the other rooms in my house and I will definitely get more T9's. I have noticed that a cover plate for the wall is very useful. besides the aesthetics, it allows mounting the plate on existing older thermostat wall plate, where no new wall drilling is required.

I had a BGE AUTOMATED THERMOSTAT. For its time it adequate but we are retired and our requirements changed. The most revolutionary feature is: Set maximum temperature for Summer and Winter. This thermostat turns on when the heated room temperature is less than, for us, 68. And when the cooled room temperature exceeds 78, for us, the air conditioning turns on. You will not have to tell the thermostat when to heat or cool.

I have had ot for a couple months now and it has performed great. Gives me updates on humidity levels for warnings i set and temps. Also let's me know when to change furnace filter. It has a lot of nice options I have yet to try. As of now I would recommend it.
