The programming and scheduling is a plus and works well. One of the main reasons I purchased was to control temperature in my sons room as opposed to the hall way - this feature works okay but sometimes loses connection to the remote sensor even though it is 10ft away. Additionally, the run time data has not uploaded to the app since the day I installed it which was a disappointment. Looking online about this issue, several people have complained about this and Honeywell has not done anything to resolve it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy, flexible and user friendly. I just had to plug and use with my existing thermostat mounting. The device gives me all the options I need. I really like the ability to control my thermostat from afar through wifi. I just wish my othe system could take a wifi connection, but I will have to wait until I upgrade my heat pump. I will buy this device again when the time comes.

We have radiant floor heat with 5 zones. One thermostat was installed in an area mostly covered by a different zone. We replaced that thermostat with the T9 and placed the remote sensor in the proper location and everything is great!

The T-9 has the ability to connect to a wireless sensor. This allowed us to monitor a few rooms in the space and keep the temperature at a more comfortable level. The thermostat and sensors were easy to install. The Resideo APP works perfectly and makes the whole temperature management process very easy.

This thermostat is great! Simple interface. With multiple room sensors it is capable.of.using fan control to balance the house well. The only issue is the app sporadicly reports runtime. It lags for days and then missed some completely.
I would recommend this to a friend!
