Easy to read display that you can see during the day or at night. I’ve had the nest before this one and I didn’t like how it would get too bright when you went past it at night almost like a nightlight. I did not need that.

Very nice and has some great features. When scheduling it always reverts to the main thermostat. We set our bedroom to be the controlling zone because it is always hotter or colder than the main room that the thermostat is in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The remote sensors are a great addition. However, I am giving it just two stars due to the Run Time report. Having data two days in arrears is not very helpful. Take a lesson from Nest Thermostat where it is near real time. I'm tempted to switch back just because of this feature.

I like the functionality of the T9 thermostat. I was replacing an older non-wifi Honeywell thermostat with the T9 for my heat pump over electric furnace system on the west coast. I did not have to rewire, I simply removed the old unit and plugged in the new one and configured. Easy install and setup. It makes adjustments when we travel easy.
Only suggestion is to offer more background options for the display as even at the lowest setting it is quite bright in a dark hallway. Only other option is to have it completely off. Would like some more dimming capability. Thanks.

Using the Resideo app makes this thing work well . It was a bit unclear in the instructions so I downloaded the other one from Google Play (Total Home Connect) which Honeywell support diagnosed as the reason I couldn't get the correct time zone. Works great now !! Easy to set up and looks good. Display changes colour depending on the mode Orange for heating system engagement and blue for AC. Added a sensor for our upstairs bedroom mostly for the cooling season and have blended the T9 with the one in our room to get the desired result - lots of options to get the temp right and adjustable via my phone too
