The thermostat did not work for my application. It wasn't nearly as robust with features as I had expected. I have a dual-fuel heat-pump with propane auxiliary heat. This thermostat will not work for that application. I also felt like the app was pretty clunky. The unit has a nice industrial design, so it looks good. Might work in a different application.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to replace a standard thermostat in our new build mainly because we mounted our TV to the wall a few ft from it and it would read much warmer in the house than it was.
I now keep the moveable thermostat, we have named it Meep, in another area of the living room or in the master bedroom when I go to bed.
I love being able to tell my Google to adjust the temp or use my phone to make changes. It has worked great so far and I do recommend.
P.S. I installed it myself and it was very easy.

This thermostat alone has helped to reduce our monthly heating/cooling costs by 20% - It has made our home have a more even temperature throughout the entire house - With your pre-programmed heat/cool settings the T9 knows that in 30 minutes you want your house to be 10 degrees warmer/cooler, knowing this the T9 gradually begins to warm/cool your home over the next 30 minutes so that your house is at your desired preprogrammed temperature at the time you have requested, opposed to a typical standard thermostat that waits until the programmed time, and then proceeds to heat/cool your home all in one moment causing you to melt/freeze in the process...love, love, love this feature.

T9 with 4 sensors... Works great and has a wide range of programming options that help to direct temperature control to the rooms that are in use along with intermittent and auto fan control. Tech Support has been great although a bit long wait.
