Constantly goes into registration mode. Disconnecting, and resetting to factory defaults doesn’t help. The iOS app can’t connect to the thermostat, and repeatedly displays registration error.

While the device is nice it requires internet to work properly with the app. It would be good if the device and app could manage independently of the internet.

Great product however after a month it randomly cuts off and reboots itself, when I first experienced it, I figured well it’s probably rebooting from a update or something, however it does it randomly and will stay with a blank screen for about 1 1/2 mins and you will hear it click and the welcome sign boots back on. I check all my connections and there all good which lies on a possible faulty T9 or are they all like this

Great for setting up programs but useless for the main reason I purchased it. With it connected to WiFi, the time is set by their network and therefore cannot be adjusted even though it is off by 5 hours. That means that all of the schedules you create are wrong and is a pain. The only fix is to leave the network connection off so you can change the time to align with your time zone. Not being able to connect to it remotely and make changes means it is no longer a "Smart Device". Others have reported similar problems.

I had 4 of these professionally installed to an existing zoned radiant floor heating system. The installer completed the job readily and setup, including the app, was very easy. We love the ability to remotely adjust our preference and they are managing the zone differentials very comfortably .
