I purchased the T9 because I installed an air purification system and needed a thermostat that has an auto circulate option. My system is not zoned and upon learning about the remote sensors and how they operate, I purchased 5 remote sensors and have the ability to better manage the whole house heating/cooling. I installed it myself as the instructions were fairly straight forward. However, I was confused by one of the connections, contacted them by phone and they were able to quickly answer my question. The mobile app (at least on Android) works well and is easy to navigate.
Product was easy to install, with helpful directions. Screen looks good and can be controlled with app on your phone or directly on the thermostat. Also remote thermostat/ sensor work great and easy to add to the main thermostat
Glad I replaced my Nest thermostats with the T9 Smart Thermostats. It seemed I was always fighting the Nest since it wants to manage you - enjoy the T9 achieving and keeping the desired temperature, ability to program my preferences, and easy use of the Resideo app. It looks nice on the wall as well. Replace of the Nest with the T9 was easy. No more being managed by Nest.
This thermostat was a big upgrade from our old Honeywell programmables that were essentially timers. I’ve had it disconnect from the internet a few times, but it self corrected after a few hours. I wish it showed relative humidity on the standby screen. I also wish that it would recognize a second unit on a second system in the house so I could operate both as a unified system.

I like being able to monitor the temp in our home when we’re away. I can turn the temp up or down just by opening the app and changing it. However there have been a few times when the thermostat loses contact with the WiFi and I have to wait for a awhile until it comes back online.
