Easy-to-use thermostat that has a lot of features and capabilities including the addition of remote temperature and humidity sensors to help balance the temperature throughout the home when selected. It works very well to achieve a balanced average temperature throughout the home. It, however, lacks the ability to retain some settings (which should probably be programming) on an on-going basis with each programmed interval- e.g., when selecting rooms with remote sensors to include in the temperature balance throughout the home, the selected rooms only remain selected until the next interval or time that you manually set. The same applies to the fan settings- e.g., if you select "circulate", it reverts back to your default selection of "on" or "auto" at the next programmed interval or time that you manually set. If would be a very convenient feature to have these settings be able to be set and retained so that the user does not need to reset them every time a scheduled interval occurs. Perhaps a future firmware update could include such capabilities? If it is currently possible to have these setting retained interval to interval, I could not find supporting documentation.

App / integration ecosystem is really crappy. I thought I was buying a Honeywell product but apparently it's actually residio and residio doesn't actually really integrate well with anything... I wish this was more clear in my research before I bought this.
It seems to be entirely incapable of actually recording when the thermostat is on. It seems like they built this thing without any sort of internal battery and it just doesn't even stay on long enough to record any settings? I don't know. It doesn't make very clear what's going on or anything and... I'm actually planning to put the older thermostat back in soon just because it's more predictable.

I was really excited about installing two of these thermostats with the extra room sensors for each level of my house. However, within two weeks of installing, we realized it was triggering our aux heat constantly. It would only be 40 degrees out and we would adjust the temperature by 1 degree and the aux heat would come on. I contacted support and they advised I adjust some settings which I did but it didn't fix the problem. I threw out the boxes since I was initially happy with them before realizing they were regularly triggering our aux heat and raising our electricity bill instead of lowering it like smart thermostats are advertised to do. I removed them and reinstalled our old "dumb" thermostats to avoid our aux heat coming on all the time and now I am stuck with two T9s that were a waste of money. Don't buy if you live anywhere where it gets to 40 degrees or lower on a regular basis in the winter...I live in Virginia so its not like I live in a very cold place.

There's a handful of smart thermostats out there. I went with Honeywell as a few of my friends recommended it as a quality brand. The install is super easy, just follow the directions. I linked it to my wifi in an instant. Great stuff!

The install was not that bad. I had to use different screws because my wall behind the old thermostat was very hard to drill through but the smaller screws worked just fine. The set up was easy. It did have a hard connecting with my phone.

Installation instructions were excellent, and setup (WiFi and thermostat configuration) were very easy. Iâve had the thermostat installed for a couple of weeks and really like the Home Sensor feature as well. App is great and easy to use.

The product is good in theory, but it is a little difficult to find options like fan, etc. But once you figure out where those options are it works great. Automatically turns my thermostat up when I leave and back down when I get home.

Easy to install and setup if you are a DIY type. Probably need help with the install otherwise. Set up is a matter of pushing the arrows on the screen the way you want them and then forget about it. The auto cool/heat setting is great!
