Excellent thermostat for a large house or a complex room arrangement. The thermostat can be upgraded to have multiple sensors that detect temperature, humidity and motion. This allows for the thermostat to focus climate control on the rooms being used. Also has circulate for the fan. This is a nice in between auto and fan on settings. Many other functions and features for the sophisticated user like a log of energy usage per day.
Stat works well, like having extra sensors around house especially in basement. Issue-- front screen/ app does not tell you cool on or heat on or if fan is running, would like to see this
The best thing is that is mantains the set temp, as the Nest that I had before would go up 2 degrees before kicking on and you couldn't change that setting. Here is FL that is too much of a fluxuation, I needed a thermostate that would keep the temp at the setting I desired, and T9 does that!
This product from appliance giant Honeywell is a functioning, good looking, and easy to install piece of art. I pair it with a remote temperature sensor in my bedroom that tends to get hotter than the hallway where the thermostat is. The combination should the problem when the house has frequent and significant temperature differences in rooms. As luck will have it, this month after I installed the thermostat has seen mild days where the AC doesn't have to kick in. We will see how well this works when the winter comes.
Overall, I like the look and feel of the thermostat. There is just one problem: its LED display is too bright in the night. I can't find a way to adjust it. It'll be great if it has a screen saver feature
