I have an Android Galaxy fold5, this app will not allow me to navigate around. It will freeze on a large image of the room temperature and I cannot go any further. I have to manually operate the thermostat from the wall. Its very irritating
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Jada, this is not what you should expect. Please delete cache and data, uninstall the Resideo app, the restart your phone and install the app again. Verify if the app continues freezing and if it happens when having your phone connected to Wi-Fi, or with data only. Our team is ready to help! Visit the Support Center link at the top of the page for ways to get in touch.
I purchase this thermostat to use with my central AC unit. It's a new AC unit, but I needed a remote sensor to better regulate the temperature in the house. The existing Honeywell thermostat that was installed worked great, but the location was not and I was constantly adjusting the settings (up/down)... The remote sensor makes it much easier to regulate the temperature. The Android app also makes it easy for me to control remotely. I would rate it 5 out of 5, but I had some problems setting up the T9 thermostat. The previous thermostats did not require a c-wire. I tried using the supplied adaptor, but the setup menus did not work correctly. As a test, I hard-wired the thermostat directly to the AC unit, by-passing the c-wire adaptor, and was able to successfully configured the T9. I then disconnected the thermostat and wired everything according to the instructions; I used the supplied c-wire adaptor, this fixed the problem. I then mounted the new thermostat in the same location as the previous one. The setup menus worked fine and it's been working great for the past two months.
Made the switch from an Emerson brand smart thermostat and overall, I like this more. Purchased two and have been using about a month and overall am very happy with the units.
Installation is simple and straightforward, however, don't expect to get support after hours or on the weekend. Be prepared to do some paint and spackling since the footprint is different than most other thermostats.
Pros: - Ease of installation - Looks nice - not a bunch of information displaying on the wall, just the necessities - Simple to program - Remote sensor works great and with the app you can easily set priority for another zone or combine both zones for an average temp - Quieter than other models. All T-stats make a noise when activating the equipment. The internal switch makes an audible 'click' when turning on the heat pump and this model is slightly quieter than the one I replaced. - The app is very easy to use and includes local weather via Accuweather.
Cons: - No weekend or after hours tech support - Different form factor requires some paint and filling the mounting holes of the previous model - No web-based app. Cannot control the unit from Resideo website. - Display lights up when turning on the equipment and can be somewhat bright at night. There seems to be no way to dim the display. - Pricey
There's a dizzying number of choices in the marketplace but if you're looking for an easy to use and stylish design that blends into the wall without a bunch of information on the display, this is a good choice.
