How can a thermostat be this good?
If your HVAC system has been using the original cool OR heat mode, you are in for an amazing improvement. Once set up, it’s able to do its job without your fussing.
I do recommend using the remote thermostat for upstairs sleeping area. And of course, the wi-fi connectivity is great.

I was having a hard time finding a HomeKit thermostat to replace my Control4 thermostat. I have a dual transformer system with gas boiler radiant heat as the primary heat, electric heat in the air handler as backup, and A/C. The thermostat was easy to set up and get connected with HomeKit.

Looks OK but because of version one I can’t use other sensors with it. Kind of makes it obsolete except for heating the single room. A little disappointed there’s no literature that I could easily find that talks about the different versions of this product and how they work with other sensors that are supposed to work with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
