So far it’s great. Pretty easy to install provided you have the right wiring. Has a hot/cold function so no matter the temp the thermostat will turn on heat or A/C. Easy to control remotely through my home WiFi. Large numbers on the screen to see at distance.
So glad I changed to the T9 Smart Thermostat. I'm now able to see outside temp and inside humidity which makes ME "smart." I'm also able to adjust the heat based on this additional information; and can do it from the device, my smart phone, and best of all using Alexa. The Alexa integration supports bi-directional information so I can ask Alexa the temperature in the room as well as tell Alexa to make a change. I've been making changes by voice when I awake mid-sleep and want more or less heat. By morning I'm well rested for a days earnings AND I've managed my heat to be comfortable and economical! The T9 does so much more including Geofencing, etc., but I'm not there yet.
Only note: if using the T9 for both heat and A/C using separate systems, you need to take the Common from the A/C!
Our T9 replaced a 3M-30 thermostat due to Radio Thermostat Co of America discontinuing app support in May. The installation was very straight forward and easy. The remote sensor(s) and humidity sensing are the most impressive features of the T9. Unfortunately, the app does not have the same capabilities as what it replaced. The UI isn't as intuitive. The geofencing is better but to get any runtime stats, I have to extract the info from my Sense Monitoring system. (While it makes a good night light, it would be nice if the faceplate display went to sleep.)
The T9 thermostat is the BEST option with the most overall capabilities when upgrading/replacing. If only the app were also.
Big improvement. This replaced a very simple non-programmable, non-WiFi, non-24 volt. Our set-up has a 4 wire conductor without a 5th 24v line. The T9 has given us all the programmability that we wanted. Additionally, the WiFi was easily set-up and the App works flawlessly. The best part was that the included 24-volt adapter was necessary to supply the necessary full time electrical. (The adaptor allowed us to use the current 4-wire line. This was a much more cost-effective choice than abandoning the current inaccessible thermostat wire and routing a completely new 5 wire conductor.) Thank you for supplying this component with the Thermostat.
