Good thermostat - little finicky set-up

Easy enough to install, but a bit finicky when it came to getting the right app to control over the phone. Also letting two people control it was a difficult process. Enablement of Geofencing was also difficult for two different er phones. Need better instructions for that.

T9 is a great thermostat. Feature rich including the convenience to control all features from Resideo app(very intuitive) & set-up is easy. As for the remote sensor - jury is still out until summer when I use sensor as the source to dictate A/C climate control (have 1 zone).
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thermostat is not worth the price. The remote sensor is useless, because within hours the thermostat defaults to using the hard-wired sensor. This is the only feature I was interested and it doesn't work. Also, utility override "savings events" appear to be enabled by default, even if you never opt in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy With My T9 Thermostat

Easy to install. There was an extra conductor in the thermostat cable that I used for the required C wire. With the old thermostat, the room with the thermostat was at the proper temperature while other rooms in the house always felt cool. My new T9 thermostat with the remote sensors has corrected that problem. The house now feels comfortable in any room.

Less than a month old and twice now it's dropped wifi connection and won't auto reconnect. This is at a second residence and has not been reliable so far.
