Thrilled with our new thermostat. Super easy to install (I had existing C wire) and works wonderfully. Our primary bedroom was always 5+ degrees cooler or warmer than the rest of the house as the room furthest from the main unit but now with the remote sensor set as primary sensor, we no longer have the problem! Wish I had this for the last 16 years we've lived in this home. Thermostat also looks great and is easy to use along with app.

Happy with my purchase. Went with T9 for these reasons: Already had a Resideo account, so adding themostat to remote app was easy. This unit will maintain the temp you set, unlike Nest and Ecobee. I do not want to be sweating and then cold, in AC mode, and then vice versa for Heat mode. I like the way this thermostat mounts, although I did have to purchase the wall mount for this unit because my low voltage wiring comes out of an electrical box. That adapter should be included. I like the fan circ mode and the way the scheduling works. Here are the things I wish were better: Display is too bright when operating thermostat. There are no options to lower brightness for active mode. You can lower it for the inactive mode, but only down to 10%. there should be a 5% option (Firmware update?). Would also like the display lighting to offer a dark background (Firmware update?)

I’ve been happy with Honeywell Thermostats in the past and a wifi enabled device with humidity and remote sensing sold me. Unfortunately, the accuracy of the remote thermostat is very poor, 1-2 degrees off other temperature reading devices in same room that all read the same value. Prioritizing a specific room failed to provide the desired effect due to the temperature accuracy (e.g. set room as priority to 68 with outside temp 45, would yield a temperature of 66 in the room (sensor reading 68), both feel and reading from other temperature sensors in the room indicate a lower than measured temperature). Returned and purchased a T5 instead and supplemented with a pair of wifi temp/humidity sensors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thermostat was easy to install, the set-up instructions were clear and each step went perfectly. The entire installation and set-up took about an hour. It has so many features and options. The app gives me the ability to monitor the temperature and make changes remotely, which is a great feature when travelling. I like the peace of mind knowing the system is running and maintaining the set temperature when I'm away - simply by checking the app.

This thermostat is great. The installation instructions and videos on the website were straight forward and made it easy to install. I appreciated the fact that the c-wire adaptor was included. If you do not have experience with HVAC equipment you may want a professional to install it. Connecting it to WIFI and Alexa was not difficult. I like the geofence control and it seems to work pretty well for me. I did not purchase the additional room sensors but plan to. The reason I rated this 4 stars is that I feel the price for the unit and additional room sensors is on the higher side. I purchased this unit because Honeywell \ Resideo brand have been doing HVAC system controls for a very long time and produce quality components. This thermostat replaced a 40+ year old Honeywell thermostat (that was still working).
