The T9 thermostat has a good user interface, is pretty intuitive to use, and does what I would expect it to do as a standalone device. However, the app to control it (Resideo) has some issues. The geofencing feature of the app stopped working for me about a weak after installation, and nothing Resideo's support team suggested I do led to better functionality. The issue appears to stem from miscommunications within the app as different parts of the app can have you being classified as being "home" and "away" simultaneously. Additionally, I have experienced issues with changing the hold temperature from the app, with the command being canceled a few seconds after starting. In summary, if you are find with a static schedule for your thermostat the T9 is great, but if you want to take advantage of features like geofencing you may want to look elsewhere.

Stay away - loses connection

I've had it installed for a little over a month and it lost connection to my network once already. Will see how it performs over time. Like the feature of the additional sensor for the bedroom.
