Excellent thermostat with great app and looks beautiful too! Easy install, neat appearance. It controls our heat pump and seamlessly switches over to the gas furnace when the outside temp drops too low. App works perfectly with remote control so we can in down if we're out or away and turn it up just before we get back. We're using it with one sensor but might add more. Haven't tried geo-fencing yet but very interested to see how well that works. The app is also able to control our Honeywell thermostat at another location.
Love that the app looks and behaves just like the thermostat on the wall, with clever subtle/elegant color coding showing at a glance whether its heating or not. Love it! It also helped that we got an energy rebate from PSE (Seattle)
Concept great, however programming instructions need to be revised. They are not comprehension enought to allow lay people like me to meet my heating programming goals.
Love it, easy to install, the app works great. the extra sensor is a nice addition, we have a 1800sqft bungalow and having a 2nd sensor helps equal out the temperature in our home much more consistent.
Good product but the installation was difficult. Wait time for the help desk was 2+ hours and then got cut-off and had to start again. Had to install an additional 24V power source in the furnace. Once install the unit works well but the user interface could be better. I have two sensors installed and getting a reading from these is a two step process that is not obvious. Scheduling the thermostat for away and in periods is also not well made. Using the "Geofencing" option is a great idea but in reality doesn't work. If you leave your home with your cellphone, the system moves to away mode leaving anyone else in the house to deal with away settings!
The geofencing on the T9 is not working. If you leave the house the thermostat will not resume it's schedule the next day,it stays at the away temp, even though it alerts you that you are back home, hopefully they will get this issue fixed soon. It is one of the few Smart Thermostats that operate on a 5g router wifi that I could find.
The instructions were very clear that I needed to connect a C wire to power this thermostat.
So far, it's working flawlessly.
This is a replacement for a non-wifi Honeywell thermostat which replaced a Nest which was causing the furnace to cycle. (previous homeowner didn't add C wire)
