I have 2 thermostats. One gives the correct temperature with Alexa and Google Home, the other does not. IFTTT programming minimal to non-existent. Cannot change the mode (permanent hold, hold, schedule) via voice commands in Alexa or Google Home or IFTTT. Speaks Google a lot better than Alexa.
Support is great, but if basic things are missing.
Not even sure where the "official" list of commands is.

Review follow up: I got the honeywell T5 model to replace my old honeywell thermostat and it made me think I was just a dummy but after calling the support team to find out what and where I went wrong and after doing everything that he said to do it was a piece of cake. The tech (I can't say his name) but Sebastian help me through the hole install. So now my home and myself are a little smarter,and I don't feel so bad. So would I recommend it to a friend? You bet

Bout this to replace an pro8000. Said it did heat pumps and furnace and could set temperature you want heat pump to kick on at. Not mentioned in the installation or user guide how to do either and no tech support what so ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty simple to install. Very easy to set up schedules or let it know when you are out of the house. I had a more basic smart thermostat before, since installing this it seems that the temps throughout the house are much more consistent! I had one issue installing as initially the thermostat didn't recognize that we had central air (just heat). I was able to dig into the settings to figure out how to turn that on. Only complaint is that the actual thermostat doesn't recognize motion, so if you want to have the location the thermostat is installed in used as an 'active' room, you need to install a remote sensor in that room as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
