It's ok. Only took 30-60 minutes to install, with pretty good instructions. Don't think it's made much difference, although it emits a brighter light so you don't bump into things if you walk in the room when the lights are out, and it shows the outside temp, which is useful. Not sure it's worth the money, though.
Super easy instructions and functionality. Thermostat works great when away from the house and I can start it, so that the house is ready when I arrive.
Recent software "update" reset all settings to factory default, came home to a swelteringly hot house and distressed pets. After "update", thermostate will no longer connect to the smart room sensor. What a colossal waste of money.
After 30 years in the business, finally an advanced intuitive thermostat, that is simple, easy to set up and maintain the perfect temp in any weather. With the remote sensors and adaptive technology it will adjustwith your activity and life style.
The Geofence is a fantastic feature. It keeps my house at constant 'away' temperature for when I go to work - and then --- Wha-la! when I get within 2 miles of my home it adjusts the temperature to what is good for me when I arrive home.
Good t-stat, but wifi program updates is what I don't like. If I didn't know how to reprogram I'd have to depend on an hvac/heating company to reprogram it. Would be nice to get earlier notification about any programming updates in the future.
Total piece of junk. This product resets on its own and loses all its sensors and scheduling. This is the second one I’ve bought and will not be coming back to this junk. The app is just garbage.
Totally solves the problem i had where my townhouse is a 2-story with split level main floor. The remote sensor allows me to set temp based on bedrooms vs lower floor where wired main thermostat is located. Remote app is good for remotely (even when just upstairs) but have just used basic functions so far but things like schedule and geofencing might be useful in the future…
