Could be a great product with a little fine tuning

The scheduling function could be greatly improved to allow more flexibility. The screen brightness/dimming could be a better integrated so it is more accessible and could dramatically be improved with the inclusion of motion detection, turning the display off or dim when people are not near.

So far it’s been a very intuitive product, installation was easy following the directions, including the installation of the c-wire adapter. And the app is pretty straightforward and easy to use.

It's Honeywell so it is hard to go wrong, but could be better. I am overall let down.
For the price, I expect this thing to be so much better. Geofencing does not work properly. It would be a phenomenal feature if it actually worked, but so far, geofencing is garbage. I also think the app should provide more feedback on the ac system. It will show you how many hours it runs in a day, but it would be nice if it showed you if it currently is running, or how long the on/off cycle is averaging and last cycle. I think some of the other brands do offer more information. For the price of these things, I just expect more. Besides the gefoencing that does not work, and motion sensor which I do not use, this is not much more functional that the standard wifi thermostat. I also wish it would save your gefoence and time schedule settings. Every time I switch between the geofence or schedule, I have to reset all of the home away and time/temp settings and which sensors to use, etc. That is so annoying. But it does come with a sensor and you can make the sensor the priority and that was important to me. I was having problems with the Wyze product because it would only let you use thermostat only or sensor average with thermostat. I probably go a different route if I had it all to do again. Maybe there will be software updates to offer more information or to fix the geofencing. Geofencing has a ton of potential, but it is a hot mess.

Product works well, but the scheduling feature isn’t very easy to navigate. The user interface isn’t nearly as simple as Nest or Google options.

I previously had the Honeywell Lyric Round thermostat. It came with my home new in 2018. The Lyric Round failed in 2022 and I replaced it with this. It works great. The reason I rate it 2 star is because it clicks very often. I don' ever remember the Round clicking. This T9 emits clicks when turning on or off the unit

The Resideo app is absolutely awful. It constantly logs me out. I’ll change the temperature on my phone and it takes forever to it to actually come on.

Extremely disappointed. I should probably take it back. Logistically painful that I can’t effectively set a schedule without geofencing. There are multiple members of my family and geofencing my phone alone is short sighted.
