The temp isn't accurate. The features are great but the temperature is constantly inaccurate. I have 3 thermometers right next to it and they are the same but the t9 I have is constantly different.
My own installation required me to add a "Com" wire, but I followed the instructions provided and was able to successfully install the unit. One criticism: there is no large wall plate (or any plate at all) to cover up marks from the last thermostat install, this is something that should be corrected! After installation I added a remote room sensor (again, easy to install). I found the programing required to switch from the main unit to the remote temperature sensor unit was easy enough. It did take a few days to figure out what programming I really wanted but after only a few tries I found a very good balance and comfortable group of settings. The T9 provided the necessary options that allowed me to create optimized temperature settings throughout the house. I especially like the option to set the fan to circulate the air in the house , this allow the temperatures to balance out by turning on the fan independently from the need to cool/heat. An extra sensor was placed in the master bedroom and we now sleep much more comfortably. The ability to control the programing and make temporary setting changes instantly via my phone is invaluable. The duel mode (setting heat and cooling thresholds) is another great feature especially for the variable spring weather we have in Michigan. All in all a very good product and I give the reader my full recommendation.
Works very well. Really like the 'circulation' mode on the fan. One thing I would change is the fan 'circulation hold' to be separate from 'temperature hold' option. Right now if you hold circulation it also holds the current temperature. I have it set to change temperatures during a 24 hour period, I want to keep those in place, but want to hold circulation mode.
I like the thermostat, it's as advertised. Because it measures humidity, I wish I could set it to heat/cool according to a set humidity level in stead of only a temperature. Sometimes if it's 40% humidity, I want the temperature to adjust up.
