Caused boiler to fault

I bought the T9 product becuse of I needed a remote sensor to help with cold spots in my house. I have a gas-fired boiler controlled by 2 wires at my thermostat. I added the common wire and terminated it to my boiler's c terminal as per the instructions. This triggered a fault on my boiler's controller and it would not start. T9 was messing with my boiler's controller.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of Money

Frequency of use:Daily
Poor app, poor website, worse support. After 3 years still no support and t-stat does not function as described . T-stats have a lot of connection issues and no integration with Alexa. Bought 4 and trashed 2 as no warranty either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Thermostat works fine, but man Residio keeps sending emails to Review and Like and Share and ...yikes. It's a thermostat. It is supposed to be put in place and literally forgotten about. So Shush.

Used to be good

Used to work until recently. Device no longer communicates with the "cloud". Nothing changed in my LAN/wireless setup but Resideo claims it is a LAN/wireless issue on my end. Strangely enough Resideo was doing "maintenance" the day all my devices stopped working. Hmm. Tried to resolve with Resideo but it was a complete waste of time. Looking for alternative solutions as we speak. (31July2025)

One complaint. No Temperature swing or differential adjustment so I can tweak cycles for my steam system. If it short cycles Ill have to get rid of it. If not you have a winner. BTW this field is truncated with a character limit thats too short.

This is my second Honeywell WiFi thermostat. They are definitely better than the fancy round or square ones.
