Easy to use once set up. I had a ver1 unit and it would not see my new Wi-Fi router with 2.4&5 ghz bands. I had to set up an old router for initial connection and update the stats software. Once that was done it connects as it should and works like a charm.

The app doesn’t work

We just installed a t9 thermostat. We bought it so we can control the temp using sour smartphones but the app only shows a blank page and doesn’t even work….

Overall the thermostat works well with respect to smart functions, app, setup and remote sensors. The primary issue is the accuracy and precision of the temperature reading. The thermostat is off by 3-4 degrees compared to a high quality IAQ monitor. The temperature offset function can account for this but it only works on the physical thermostat screen. Maybe this can be corrected with a software update. The precision issue is due to the fact that the thermostat varies in accuracy across the temperature range - sometimes is seems to randomly jump by 2 degrees. It is mounted on an interior wall away from windows. My guess is that when the AC shuts off - heat from the actual thermostat unit causes the temperature to jump, but that is a guess.

The app is awful. The actual temperature shown typically doesn’t refresh until you restart the app or go look at the room priority settings if you want to see the current temp. It does seem to do the averaging between the sensors fairly well.

Works with radiant heat and central AC, which is more than i can say for the Nest. Easy setup. Decent app. Wish it had presence sensing and turned off the display when not in front of it.
