Temperature registers higher than it actually is. Tested with 2 others and the T9 is always higher. Easy to use, looks nice.

Doesn't work on dual-band wifi. Runtime doesn't show hourly breakdown. Will likely switch to ecobee which has more modern features.

The remote sensor and the master thermostat has no means to recalibrate these devices were that may be needed for some applications. It's not good enough to start that they are factory calibrated.

Difficult to connect to the Internet. Without an Internet connection it’s basically an old-fashioned dumb thermostat. The programming function doesn’t work without it. I followed the steps three times and even change the settings on my router but to no avail. Finally the AC repair guy came to work on my unit and was able to guide me through the process on my phone. Now it works great but it was very frustrating for two years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I now get to stay in bed and start the heater in the a.m. wonderful. I like being able to start the temp control from my phone. The readout is large and this helps with aging vision. The light is so bright that it serves as a hallway nightlight.
